Training

The training is one of the important services of the organization aims for human resource development and skill updating of the resource personnel’s of the user departments for scientific application and management of the soil survey database in planning and extension of various watershed development programmes. The Soil and Land Use Survey of India (SLUSI) initiated biannual training programme in the year 1997 for the officers of Sate user departments involving in land based development activities. Since year 2010, training programs have been arranged at different States in collaboration with State Government exclusively for the officers of the State departments namely Agriculture, Soil Conservation, Rural Development and Forest department. The training details are given in table below.
